Key-note speaker: Elisabet LahtiThe Inner Journey of Sisu: The Strength to Carry On Under Pressure
In today’s fast-paced world, we all face the same question: how do we stay grounded, balanced, and brave when life doesn’t slow down and we face pressure?
In this inspiring and down-to-earth keynote, Finnish behavioral scientist Dr. Elisabet Lahti introduces the Finnish concept of sisu—a powerful spark of inner strength that appears when things get tough. Blending science with storytelling, Elisabet takes you on a journey into your resilience through her research and real-life transformational quest: a 2,400 km endurance expedition across New Zealand.
Dr. Lahti’s work on inner fortitude focuses on the applied psychology and somatic resilience of thriving under pressure. With warmth and humor, she invites you to explore what true strength means—and how resilience, self-care, and community together create the courage to carry on.
